“Before I went to school, I spent my early childhood with my grandparents in a small village in the mountains of central Taiwan. It was a life very close to nature and simplicity. After starting school, I moved to Taipei to join my parents, a big city with a population of about three million people. However, the experience of living in the countryside seems to have planted roots in my heart.”

“I think I connect the idea of home with the forest, nature and a sense of belonging together. I feel more comfortable in nature than in the city and I really enjoy observing everything in nature, even the smallest leaf. Everything in nature is so beautiful to me.”

“I think I have worked harder than ever in the past year. Maybe it's because of the epidemic, I rarely go out, and basically shut down for the whole year. Because there's not much else to do, I've been able to spend more time and focus more on my work. And the more I get into creating, the more I found that I don't have enough time because there is so much I want to do.”

“Spring often brings me a feeling of refreshment and adds endless strength. Spring is a new beginning, bringing warmth. Spring is the world of flowers, the fusion of all beauty, the general assembly of all colors.”
